Juan Manuel Santos: ¿Mejor ministro que presidente?

Declarar que el presidente Hugo Chávez es un factor de estabilidad en la región, ha sido el error político más grave que ha cometido el presidente Juan Manuel Santos.

Cuando observamos los desvaríos del presidente de Colombia Juan Manuel Santos como presidente, y nos vamos allá a los tiempos en que era ministro, y mostraba una fortaleza poco común, exhibiendo con orgullo su éxito al frente de la lucha contra los irregulares narcoterroristas de las Farc, no deja uno de pensar el porqué de ese cambio sustancial de 180 grados en su actuar, como presidente.

Las cuestionadas y extrañas relaciones del presidente Juan Manuel Santos con su nuevo y mejor amigo Hugo Chávez, han producido una profunda división en los pueblos de Colombia y de Venezuela.

La mitad de estas poblaciones asimila a estas relaciones como naturales, necesarias y fundamentales para la economía y paz de ambos países. La otra mitad las mira con escepticismo, malestar, desconfianza y no las justifica, por los principios democráticos y ética elementales.

La demostración evidente de la existencia comprobada de las Farc en territorio venezolano, con el consentimiento y protección del gobierno venezolano, son motivos más que suficientes para desconfiar del gobierno venezolano y cuestionar tal amistad.

Los homenajes, estatuas y efigies del pueblo chavista en Caracas, dedicados los líderes de las Farc, alias Manuel Marulanda conocido como tiro fijo y alias Raúl Reyes, dados de baja por el gobierno colombiano, son acciones y eventos hablan por sí solos de la simbiosis existente entre la revolución bolivariana liderada por Hugo Chávez y las Farc, razón muy poderosa para desconfiar de esta amistad entre mejores amigos.

Por otra parte, según pensamos algunos, al parecer tal amistad estaría estimulada por la deuda que el gobierno venezolano tiene con los empresarios colombianos, lo cual tampoco justifica darle la espalda a la democracia venezolana por tal razón, cuando existen otras formas legales menos entreguistas y más dignas, para cobrar tal deuda.

El comportamiento del presidente Santos ante la crisis de la solicitud de aceptación de Cuba en la Cumbre de las Américas, dejó muchas dudas y criticas por su viaje a Cuba y por su posición dual y blandengue ante esta solicitud, la cual ha debido ser más clara y contundente. El gobierno cubano es una dictadura y con dictaduras no se puede hablar de cumbres, ya que ésta en particular ha hecho mucho daño al pueblo cubano, y continúa haciéndolo, y punto.

Tal como lo sugirió en la sexta Cumbre de las Américas el presidente Juan Manuel Santos, tenderles puentes a gobiernos dictatoriales, o a movimientos revolucionarios irregulares apartados de la democracia, que han demostrado en el tiempo que quienes los dirigen son soberbios con tendencias megalómanas, fue una gran inocentada. Extraña que provenga de un presidente democrático de un país con más de 50 años de lucha continúa contra insurrectos y narcotraficantes.

A los narcoterroristas de las Farc, se les ha dado todo tipo de oportunidades para que se reintegren a la vida pacífica colombiana, quienes las han rechazado reiteradamente en diferentes épocas y con diferentes gobiernos.

Los puentes se les tienden a las personas o grupos que se arrepientan de sus actos ilícitos y/o vandálicos que deseen reinsertarse responsable y voluntariamente en la sociedad de un país. Lo demás es demagogia.

Declarar que el presidente Hugo Chávez es un factor de estabilidad en la región, ha sido el error político más grave que ha cometido el presidente Juan Manuel Santos. Conociendo la influencia e injerencia del gobierno venezolano en las naciones del Alba y en Argentina, países estos que tienen crisis por doquier, donde la semejanza y solidaridad de estos gobiernos con la revolución marxista leninista dirigida desde Cuba por Fidel Castro con la participación activa de Hugo Chávez, pudieran ser de las principales causas de éstas crisis. Es inconcebible que a Juan Manuel santos se le pueda ocurrir declarar al mundo semejante disparate.

Si algo es un peligro claro y evidente para la estabilidad política en Latinoamérica, y para las democracias de la región; es precisamente, la cofradía que se ha formado entre el gobierno cubano dirigido por los Castro y el gobierno venezolano dirigido por Hugo Chávez, con el visto bueno y complacencia de otros gobiernos latinoamericanos alcahuetes y antidemocráticos.

La guinda para rebosar al vaso, la recién acaba de poner el presidente Santos, promocionando la Ley para la paz con las fuerzas narcoterroristas de las Farc, adelantándoles posibles concesiones y perdones, cuando se esperaba que continuara con el proyecto de seguridad colombiano que dirigió exitosamente como ministro de defensa del gobierno del ex presidente Álvaro Uribe Vélez.

Cuando los logros de Juan Manuel Santos como presidente brillan por su ausencia, y los pocos éxitos logrados han sido consecuencia directa de las políticas públicas desarrolladas por el anterior gobierno de Álvaro Uribe Vélez, en el cual éste fue una de las estrellas más esplendorosas como ministro, a tal punto que por ello gano la presidencia de Colombia; cabe preguntarse: ¿Fue Juan Manuel Santos mejor ministro que actual presidente?

Sería algo atrevido y aventurero señalar que Juan Manuel Santos como presidente estaría llegando a su nivel de incompetencia política, dado que va por la mitad de su periodo presidencial y bien pudiera dar un vuelco positivo a su gestión como tal.

Quizás es prematuro juzgar su gestión como presidente, y necesariamente habría que esperar un tiempo más para hacerlo. Sin embargo, la cantidad de desvaríos es tan extensa, que pareciera ser que es una política de Estado pre concebida con propósitos desconocidos de la cual pareciera difícil alejarse voluntariamente. ¿Qué piensa usted al respecto amigo lector?

Nota: Dado que posiblemente a algunos lectores les llame la atención mi especial interés en la política y asuntos colombianos siendo venezolano, les respondo lo siguiente: Venezuela y Colombia son naciones tan hermanas e interconectadas, que sería muy difícil la convivencia pacífica entre ambas naciones, con regímenes de gobierno tan dispares y contradictorios, como lo son el comunismo que se pretende implantar en Venezuela y la democracia que se intenta consolidar en Colombia. Saque usted sus propias conclusiones amigo lector.
